So, on Saturday, I'm off to big scary University for 4 years to do Middle Eastern and Mediterranean Archaeology and hopefully Criminology as my minor. I'm terrified! I still feel like I'm 13 years old, ( not helped by the fact that I've only grown about an inch since then ) and way too young and immature to be going off to something so terribly educational and serious as University. I'm going to be a student! An undergrad! A penniless, near-destitute, teenager!!! ( Sheesh, TV makes it sound awful, the drinking will be fun, I know ;D )

I've not packed yet, everything's just sitting on my bed. I've also had to take all my posters and wall-things down as my brother is getting my room and will just demolish them. I'm not allowed to put anything up on the walls at Uni, so my lovely posters are going into storage for a year. Whoopee. I'm also not allowed to take down my guitar... I won't even tell you how mad I am about that. I can't afford to buy an acoustic at the moment. They say specifically that electric guitars and keyboards are NOT allowed. How unfair is that!? Its not like I'd crank the amp up to 10 at 3am and play music! And surely a sax or any other instrument would be as bad!? ( Hypocritically, if my next-door-roomie had a recorder, I'd probably kill him >.< ) So I'm very upset that my guitar will just sit and gather dust at home.

So, anyone else who's about to go out into the big, wide world of adulthood, good luck and congrats for getting this far! ( If you're like me, you'll still be in a stupor at having got this far anyway ) Lets hope for fun days, drunken nights, and hangover cures that work. And good grades, tudying etc. etc. XD
